FSSAI Registration/FSSAI License

FSSAI Registration:

Small-scale food manufacturers, hawkers, and vendors with limited food production capacity (up to 100 kg/liters per day) or those dealing in the collection of up to 500 liters of milk per day must obtain FSSAI registration.
For small slaughterhouses, the registration is required if the capacity does not exceed two large animals, ten small animals, or 50 poultry birds per day.

FSSAI License:

Required for businesses with an annual turnover exceeding Rs.12 Lakhs.
State License: Issued to medium-sized businesses with annual turnovers between Rs.12 Lakhs and Rs.20 Crores.
Central License: Necessary for larger food businesses with turnovers exceeding Rs.20 Crores or those engaged in international trade.
